Wonder Hacks

A short guided pause for groups — QR in the room, profiles appear live on your network page.

What is a Hack?

A Hope & Wonder Hack is a short, guided pause at the start or end of a meeting, lecture, conference, or gathering. Everyone takes up to 60 seconds of voice or writes their hope or wonder, and a branded page fills with profiles in real time.

Timing

About ten minutes works well for most groups. The shift of attention matters more than the length of time.

Facilitation

No complicated script: offer one prompt, allow a short silence, invite pairs to share privately, then open the QR code.

Participation

People can write instead of speak; sharing in pairs is private. No one is asked to present to the whole room.

Young people in education

Hope & Wonder is intended for users aged 16 and over. Hacks in schools or colleges for young people over 13 can be run where a responsible adult oversees safeguarding — contact info@hopeandwonder.space to plan this well.

After the Hack

Profiles remain with participants and on your network page. Recurring Hacks can shape culture over time.
