The short version
Hope & Wonder is a platform for sharing what gives you hope and what fills you with wonder. By using it you agree to these terms. The most important things to know: your content belongs to you, we will never sell your data, and we ask you to use this space in the spirit it was created — to turn attention outward, amplify others, and share what is genuinely moving and extraordinary.
Who we are
Hope & Wonder is an initiative of Panahpur, a registered charity (number 1130367) based in the United Kingdom. When these terms refer to "we", "us", or "Hope & Wonder" they mean Panahpur operating the Hope & Wonder platform at hopeandwonder.space.
If you have any questions about these terms write to us at info@hopeandwonder.space.
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to everyone who uses Hope & Wonder — whether as an individual creating a profile, an organisation setting up a network page, or a visitor browsing the platform without an account.
By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree please do not use the platform.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Hope & Wonder account. By creating an account you confirm that you are 16 or over.
If you are setting up a network page on behalf of an organisation you confirm that you have the authority to enter into these terms on behalf of that organisation.
For educational use of Hope & Wonder Hacks with young people under 16, please read our guidance on educational use and contact us at info@hopeandwonder.space before proceeding.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Please do not share your login details with anyone else.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised please contact us immediately at info@hopeandwonder.space
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or our community guidelines.
Your content
Your content — your stories, your profile, your photo — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of anything you share on Hope & Wonder.
By sharing content on the platform you grant Hope & Wonder a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute that content on the platform and in any communications about the platform such as newsletters or social media posts that feature stories from the orbit. We will always credit you when we share your content outside the platform.
You can withdraw this licence at any time by deleting the content from your profile or by deleting your account entirely. We will remove your content within 30 days of deletion.
You confirm that you have the right to share the content you post — that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright, privacy, or other rights.
You confirm that the content you share complies with our community guidelines.
What you agree not to do
By using Hope & Wonder you agree not to:
- Share content that promotes yourself, your own organisation, or your own achievements as the primary subject — Hope & Wonder is for amplifying others.
- Share content that is hateful, threatening, or discriminatory toward any person or group on the basis of their identity, faith, background, or body.
- Share content that is deliberately false or misleading.
- Use the platform to promote organisations, causes, or agendas that contradict the values of Hope & Wonder.
- Use political or religious belief to demean, exclude, or inflame division rather than to inspire hope and connect across difference.
- Share content generated entirely by AI, automated posts, or copy-pasted press releases.
- Create multiple accounts, use automated tools to post content, or attempt to game or manipulate the platform in any way.
- Attempt to access, modify, or disrupt the platform's technical infrastructure.
- Use Hope & Wonder for any commercial purpose without our written permission.
Network pages
Organisations, events, and learning spaces that create Hope & Wonder network pages agree to:
- Ensure that their community uses the platform in the spirit of these terms and our community guidelines.
- Take shared responsibility for the content that appears on their network page.
- Make a voluntary contribution toward the sustainability of the platform where they are able to do so.
- Contact us promptly if any concerns arise about content or conduct within their network.
We reserve the right to remove network pages that violate these terms or bring the platform into disrepute.
Moderation
We are a small, human-run platform. We do not use automated systems to moderate content. We rely on our community to flag content that feels wrong and we review every report with human attention and care.
If we remove your content or suspend your account we will tell you why. We believe in honest, direct communication — including when we have had to make a difficult decision.
If you disagree with a moderation decision you can appeal by writing to info@hopeandwonder.space. We will review your appeal and respond within 14 days.
