Buying Back Brixton for the Community

Hi everyone, I'm Christoph at Common and the wonder that I would like to record is about the campaign of the Advocacy Academy which is called Buy Back Brixton. This is a campaign to prevent the sale of Brixton Village which is a big chunk of the middle of the much beloved Brixton area of Lanton to private equity and instead to raise the tens of millions of pounds needed to make a community buyout and take it into collective, creative, collaborative, local, place-based co-ownership. What could be more wonderful than that as a sign for hope and possibility in Brixton and around the world?
