Hope

Neil Pinder is my story of hope. A teacher who founded the organisation Homegrown Plus as a way of improving diversity in architecture.
There's lots of people doing great work around the environment but the built environment has never been particularly inclusive. It's been very white, male and middle class. It's also a very expensive profession to train for so it's not been as inclusive as it should have been but things are really starting to change.
I'm really impressed and moved by the work that Neil Pinder is doing for Homegrown Plus, a charity that he has set up as a way of getting young people involved in architecture.
