Q2: Life
Give us a glimpse into your life story so far with an emphasis on what you are doing currently?
Started my journey from a refugee camp and then had to leave Kuwait because of the Gulf War and go to Jordan. Because there were ten of us I could not go the University and had to help my dad as a waiter. This led to an opportunity to serve the Jordanian Ambassador in London. I spoke no English and eventually moved to another place and washed dishes for five years whilst learning English from Sesame street. Eventually got a place at Queen Margaret University to study Hospitality and Tourism Management with the vision of becoming a general manager in a five star hotel. Then had a dream where I saw myself on the top of Mount Everest praying for peace. In 2008 I become the first Jordan and to climb Mount Everest then in 2016, I become one of 13 people to do the Grand Slam.
