Coastal Bike Ride & Kapoor's Impossible Black

Hope I'm allowed to have two things! The first were the many surprises along the cycle route (mainly on ational cycle route 1) from Margate to Brighton. It's in the densely populated South East but there was gorgeous countryside as well as varied and interesting towns - Margate, Sandwich, Hastings and Lewes. The second was the exhibition of Anish Kapoor at the Hayward Gallery - his Prussian blues and the Vanta black - the blackest of blacks - so unreflective that holes and projections looked flat....
